Chapter 30 - The Pass
I had some attempts of setting up Daniela with someone in the city, but strangely couldn't get either the right moment or the right guy. Nani didn't have any problems in finding boyfriends, she will complement them and they would instantly go double flirty. Getting the boys over was no problem. There were some close calls for Daniela.
Jeffery Flex was one. He and his friend, Royce Hutton, came over just when the girls came back from the Island. It was late and Daniela had to finish up some school work, so Nani did the socializing. Both girls batteries were dead, so they went right to bed. Jeffery and Royce hung around.
Royce played video games while Jeffery decided to clean the refrigerator one plate at a time.
Yea that stunk up the place. Teach those girls to abandon us, the pigs that we are.
I believe this is the first that the sun has shown through those windows. After cleaning up, Christopher came over for a visit while Daniela gets happy on the piano.
So, over at Jeffery's apartment, we have Jeffery and Dean Feng having a breakfast.
'Have you met Nani over in the art district?', Jeffery begins.
Dean with full mouth mutters out, 'uh uh.', while shaking his head.
'You should see her room-mate. She's hot. We should head over there.'
'Yea sure,', Dean blindly accepts, then points to Jeffery's bowl, 'you going to eat that?'
Jeffery makes the call. Plan is, Dean preoccupies Nani, while Jeffery makes his moves on Daniela. Simple.
Nani was at the front door when the two showed up. I put Dean right on Nani, for Nani it's another prospect so this could be interesting.
'Where's Daniela?', Jeffery asks, 'Oh she's inside', Nani says as she wonders off back to what Dean was saying.
'Sweet.'
'Hey pretty one how's your day going?'
Now I don't know what Jeffery's charisma skill is, but I played him to where he had about three girlfriends - one of which was Allie. But he wasn't going anywhere with Daniela, so I thought I help him out.
So back to the elevator, splitting up Nani and Dean, Daniela seek refuge. She knows Jeffery, the one sweet talking to her that one party night and later trashed her apartment. So I put Dean back on Nani and did some pleasant discussion with Jeffery and Daniela. She got happy and then playful.
Dean was doing well with Nani, while Daniela seemed stuck between a rock and hard place but was riding the storm well and starting to have a good time. After a few good jokes and laughs Jeffery complements her appearance with good response.
Eventually Jeffery put out his best pick up line towards Daniela. At this point I wasn't sure if it was going to be a yea or a nay. It was like a Jaws moment.
Ouch, game over. I suppose that charisma skill still needs a bit of improvement. I thought I had her.
And the worst is the two are abandon in the elevator.
Dean looks to Jeffery, 'Man I did my part. What happened to you?'
Jeffery you let me down.
